Direct the camera.
Not the adjective.
A cinematic field guide to what physically moves, what changes in the lens or timeline, and how to ask for it precisely.
从摄影机位移、镜头变化到剪辑时间线,用准确术语把“更电影感”变成可执行指令。

COMPARE MODE
Same words? Different physics.
Dolly in vs Zoom in
Dolly: camera position changes; parallax changes.
Zoom: focal length changes; camera stays fixed.
Compare mechanics →Pan vs Tracking
Pan: fixed position, yaw rotation.
Tracking: camera translates through space.
Compare mechanics →J-cut vs L-cut
J: next audio arrives before next picture.
L: previous audio continues after picture changes.
Compare timelines →PROMPT GRAMMAR

ANSWER-FIRST FAQ
Common camera movement questions
Is a zoom a camera movement?
A zoom changes focal length while camera position stays fixed. It changes framing but not perspective through camera translation.
What is the difference between tilt and crane up?
A tilt rotates a fixed camera vertically. A crane-up raises the camera’s physical position and may also tilt to keep composition.
Can AI video tools reliably create J-cuts or match cuts?
Support varies. J/L cuts are audio-timeline edits and match cuts require two planned shots; for reliability, generate shots separately and edit them.
